Israel

A Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, Israel is the biblical Holy Land. It is the center of the redemptive story of Christ Jesus. Its most sacred and biblical sites are in Jerusalem.

Some of these sites includes the historic Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Mount of Temptation, Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Shepherds Field, Garden Tomb, Church of Nativity, Shepherd’s Field, Cana, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Sea of Galilee and many more.

Israel is bordered by Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the Red Sea, Egypt, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Palestinian territories. All of these territories and sites are also of great Biblical relevance. The primary source for the history of ancient Israel is, of course, the Bible.

The Bible gives more relative space to history than any other sacred book. The records of the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans give a background for and sometimes deal directly with the history of Israel. Israel stands as one of the most important places on the planet.

Furthermore, the land is sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Being so, the archaeological and historical sites in the Holy Land are not just tour attractions. Some are venerated as holy places, while others are viewed as highly significant to world history. Religiously, Israel is a land of destiny, redemption and return. A visit to Israel has the power to change your life. The Bible will come to life and your faith will be renewed.
Jordan

Jordan is a country in Western Asia with Amman being its largest city and capital. Jordan has been a home to some key biblical personalities like Abraham, Moses, Job, Ruth, Elijah, Jesus Christ and Paul, just to name a few. The Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, stands as the only area within the Holy land that has been visited by these influential biblical leaders.

Jordan breathes within histories recorded in the Holy bible. Through the words of Abraham, Job and Moses, it shows that this land was where God first manifested himself to man, where Moses journeyed with the Israelites, and where Jesus thrived. The area became known as the, “Plain of Moab”.

It is in Jordan where Jacob wrestled with the Angel of God, where Lot’s wife turned into a pilar of salt, where Job was tested and rewarded, where Elijah ascended into heaven. This land also embodies the water where Jesus was baptized and the gathering of his first disciples. This is where the Holy Spirit first manifested.

The country’s historical and cultural wealth is overwhelming, as it envelops the ruins of ancient civilization, religious sites and cultural hotspots. From the ancient Nabataean city of Petra, lies the miracle of the Dead Sea and Jordan valley, the wonders of the Red Sea and wadi Rum, to the fine hotels, shopping centers, museums, and art galleries.
All the above-mentioned places exist to date and serves as pilgrimage sites and for touristic purposes. Jordan is truly a blend of old and new east and West, and an oasis of culture. Taking a trip to Jordan is unlike any other trip you’ll ever take.
Egypt

Egypt, famous for its Pyramids and the Nile River, was the first world power of Bible history. Under its shadow the nation of Israel was formed. Moses who penned the first five books of the Bible, was born and educated in Egypt.

Among all of Israel’s neighbors, Egypt is the most prominent one in the Bible, especially in relation to Moses in the Old Testament, and in the New to Jesus. Egypt carries great significance in Biblical history and in Jewish life.
From biblical perspective, Ancient Egypt is often depicted as a safe haven and at the same time a place of oppression recounting from the stories of Abraham, Joseph, Moses, the children of Israel, Jesus Christ and many others. Symbolic biblical sites in Egypt includes the Pyramids, River Nile, Mount Sinai, St. Catherine monastery, just to name a few. A journey to Egypt will leave you with an experience of a life time.
